He Remains In Control

The Lord is in control.  Believe!  I just want to spend some time praying together today, lifting up our communities. Lord, let Your love prevail.  Let Your wisdom lead the day.  Let people's hearts be turned to You, and let Your church lead the way.  This virus has claimed lives, changed lives, and caused so much fear.  Lord, destroy this virus and restore people's lives...not the way they were, but better, because they have come to know You as Lord and Savior through the trials and storms.  Lord, we know You are bigger than anything in the universe, You contain he universe.  Your children need not fear.  But we do feel fear, we do feel sadness.  Be our strength and our comfort.  Be our peace and our high tower.  Lord, let us be Your hands and feet that share Your love, care, goodness and heart with those around us.  I pray that You end this virus in such a way that the world sees Your hand and Your hand alone.  Please comfort those who have lost loved ones.  Wrap them in Your arms and soothe their hearts.  Please help those who are not being paid to have their needs met.  Please let us be the ones to help meet needs when we can, giving You the glory.  Lord, once again, we see how much the world needs You.  Please stop the craziness and let Your love shine through every day.  We pray this in Jesus' powerful Name.  Amen
