Praise Always

The Covid19 pandemic continues on.  Thankfully we are seeing some improvements, lessening of deaths and hospital admissions...My work place on the other hand has seen a rise in cases this last week.  So I ask for continued prayer for all those who are unable to remain home at this time.  But there is still so much to be thankful for in our household.  I'm on an active hunt for gratitude moments!  And there are plenty of them!  One of my favorite is hearing music that lifts my heart.  During this difficult time, praise becomes our greatest weapon.  We may not be able to fight this unseen enemy in the seen world, but our praises will usher in God's Presence and power in the spiritual world.  They will lift us up to the throne of God where we are in a place of peace, a place of love and a place of grace.  Let's end this week on a high note of praise for our heavenly Father and Savior who carry us through all troubles, all tribulations.  No matter what happens we are safe in the shelter of His wings.  We fear not those things or people which can harm the body because we know only the Lord Himself holds our spirits...for now and for eternity.

Lord, we praise You!  We raise a hallelujah!  You are alive.  We are alive and have breath and praise Your powerful, awesome, love filled name!  You hold our souls in Your hands.  We live in the shadow of Your wings, safe.  You are our high tower, our fortress.  Our home is always with You.  Nothing can ever change that, nothing can ever take that from us.  What blessed people we are!  Praise You holy name!  Praise our Lord and Savior.  Our Defender.  The lover of our souls!  Hallelujah!!  Hallelujah!!

2 Chronicles 20:15   He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Psalm 150  1 Praise the Lord.  Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.  3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,  4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,    praise him with the strings and pipe,  5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.  6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord.

Sing a little louder today!!
