Keep Looking

This blog has a purpose.  It's to encourage us to look around with open eyes and open hearts to see those times when in a special way, the Lord steps into our days, our circumstances, our lives.  Even though He is always with us, always present, there seem to be unique moments where He breaks into our little part of the wordl with an extraordinary touch, sometimes quiet and gentle, easily overlooked if you are not paying attention, other times a "wow"---big, bold and completely unmissable.  It is my prayer that these writings of mine (truly given by God---all good comes from Him, all talents, all gifts) have done that for you.  We all need to be reminded of His love, His teaching, His touch and care in and upon our lives.

So the God visit from a couple of days ago fit right along with the theme of this blog...reminding me once again to keep my heart and mind open see the Lord's hand throughout the day, to feel His heart touch mine as I go through this journey called life.

From "Jesus Always" by Sarah Young:  "My love chases after you every day of your life.  So look for signs of my tender Presence as you go though this day."  Okay, it's like Sarah read my purpose and desire for this blog and put it into her own beautiful words!  I guess the Lord felt I needed a reminder too! God is so good.  So loving and caring.  He wanted to make sure I was not just typing mere words on a computer, but living them out as well.  I am always so glad for His little admonishments.  What a beautiful God we serve.

Oh Lord, to live each minute, each day completely aware of Your presence.  That is my hearts desire for myself, and for each person who reads this.  There could be nothing better!  Lord, make us more and more aware...Thank You.

Practice awareness!

I will be away next week for a much needed, much desired vacation.  Please feel free to go back over some earlier entries.  I tried to figure out if I could write in advance and have it published on a specific day, but I don't think I can do that, at least I could not figure it out....I'm not tech savvy for sure!!  LOL  But I will keep my readers in my prayers, as I hope you will me.  And I will see you all in a about 2 weeks, with I'm sure some beautiful tales of God's blessings.  Love and blessings all!
