Well, last week seemed like a whirlwind.  Every day started early, flew by in a blur of activity and ended with one tired lady.  I went away thinking I'd have some beautiful mornings with the Lord, overlooking the vast ocean He created only to have quick moments with Him before rushing out the door to go and do.  And although I was surrounded by His beauty, I often only caught glimpses of His hand...by the end of the week I felt disconnected from His presence.   But I learned something!  I learned that my heart craves the presence of Jesus.  I need Him like I need oxygen.  It's not something I didn't really "know," but I needed to feel it in my heart.

I awoke this morning with a rotten headache, my mind felt foggy and blurred.  I walked into my living room and all around me looked like a tornado has blown threw....suitcases, piles of clothes, bags, papers.....you know that post vacation mess that leaves you wondering if it's ever going to be restored to some semblance of order.  As I began to try and make some sense of it all and put everyday life back together, I felt my heart tugging towards the Lord...the longing for time with Jesus, uninterrupted, quiet and lengthy.  Sometimes when we feel disconnected from our Father, we often wonder if we will ever feel normal again.  And that is what was in my heart as well this morning....but God had the answer, as He always does!

I went into the kitchen to reheat my coffee (for the 5th or so time!) and I looked to the side, and this wonderful little magnet popped out at me.  I bought this magnet for my Mom on a previous cruise! Once again, the Lord reached out and reassured my heart:  His love is constant.  It never fails, it never leaves me and it always welcomes me back to His arms.  God visit!   Big smile here!!

I went away thinking I'd come back with amazing God visits to share with you all, little knowing the God visit was waiting for me at home!  Isaiah 55:8  “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

The arms and the heart of the Lord are always open to us.  I am so thankful for this fact.  No matter what we feel....His love is true, steadfast and forever.  Never doubt that friends!

I am so grateful Lord, that Your love is never changing and never ending.  You are so good to me! Lord, let us always remember this....but thank You that when we don't, You gladly remind us!  Help us to see Your love today!
