The times are growning dark. The days rushing to the inevitable final battle between good and evil (and we know who wins!) As the church we long for the day that Christ returns. For the day where He delivers and claims His bride. Every time I hear this song, I think of the comparision between Israel awaiting a physical deliverance from the oppression of her enemies, and us while we await the spiritual and physical deliverance from the oppression of living in this evil world. Our deliver Jesus, the mighty King of kings, our Savior, Redeemer, Messiah, our victor and Lord...He is coming back. And with joy and expectation we await that day!
Keep this in mind this Christmas season. As the Father fulfilled His prophecies and promises the first time when Jesus came as a baby to be our Savior, He will fulfill His promise of a second return. The promise of a victorious warrior King that will rule forever. Hallelujah!!
Revelation 22:20-21 He Who is the faithful witness to all these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon!" Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord be with you all.
Hallelujah! Come, Lord Jesus! Lord, we are filled with longing and anticipation for Your return. Come, Lord Jesus!
